Personal Development: Attitude & Mindset
Guide your officers to thinking critically about who they are and who they want to be as leaders. They will evaluate their level of positivity, desire to lead selflessly, and their attitude towards opportunities and obstacles. Officers will identify the ways they want to grow and how their teammates can support them towards that growth.
Team Development: Your Role on the Team
Knowing more about themselves as leaders and the expectations of the office they have been elected to, your officers will discuss their roles on the team. They will identify what they are responsible for, how they interact together as a team, and how they wish to hold one another accountable during the year. This workshop briefly touches on conflict management as it relates to officer personalities and provides a few practice scenarios for the team to work through.
Chapter Development: Chapter Calendar
In this workshop, your officer team will explore what it means to belong in your chapter and the strength of community within our chapter. They’ll discuss how the POA in past years has supported strong relationships within the chapter and areas that could be improved. After identifying activities for the coming year that support the POA and strengthen the chapter community, they will assign activities to a calendar and lay out action steps towards accomplishing each activity.
