Mental Health Advocates
Mental health issues are rising across the U.S. and at an especially alarming rate for those involved in agriculture and/or living in rural America. This workshop, which is maybe more of an “interactive Ted Talk,” is to make students aware of the issues and warning signs, both for high-school-aged students and people in their community. The goal is to raise their awareness and ability to advocate, knowing where resources are and the importance of reducing the stigma.
The workshop should last about 45 minutes.
