Ag Issues Research Unit Plan
A two-week lesson plan, with three different “levels” to accommodate all classes!
We designed this to be used virtually or in-person as a ten-day unit. Students will research an issue in agriculture, write a research paper and complete an additional informational project on their issue. Items included in this package:
Unit Plan Option 1
Designed for middle-school to freshman-minded students
Students complete a 1-page paper and an informational poster
Unit Plan Option 2
Designed for sophomore and junior-minded students
Students complete a 2-page paper and a short pitch of their issue (assignment explained in detail)
Unit Plan Option 3
Designed for junior and senior-minded students
Students complete a 2-3 page paper and a news story with release
